Hello Hunters! We all have impactful decisions to make. Making them diligently, means brainstorming arguments, carefully weighing of each aspect and taking your time to ponder the outcome. And wasting a ton of paper on oh so many iterations of the same Pro's & Con's list. At least in my case. At the end of 2021 I once again found that there still isn't a better (digital) way of creating, and sharing, Pro's & Con's lists. So I decided to build the solution myself. @olivierjanssen nice idea! Have you ever heard of Analytic hierarchy process? You might want to try baking some of that in to make this a bit more robust,if it fits your product idea

Hi @dialectic_sg, yes, I have! I've got 2 main features on my list to offer more support for this model; categorising arguments and comparing P/C lists on a result- and category basis. Do you have ideas for other specific features to better support it? ATM my focus is on marketing & the library. The Library is a great start for AHP, as users can, for example, copy the "Should I go University XYZ?"-list for every college option you have and rapidly compare their options by rearranging arguments based on preferences. Or in other words; the library should offer a quick start to any decision you might run into.

@olivierjanssen hmm you may want to actually read up what AHP is. It's a lot more than what you described. The idea of hierarchy is key - breaking an argument into many components, and breaking those into many more.

@dialectic_sg sure, you're right, categories offer a limited amount of depth. I'm gonna give this one a thorough thought as it's easy for functionality like this to add too much complexity to the interface for basic users. As I obviously don't monitor lists users create privately I also have limited data on the types decisions people create lists for. Thanks for your insight in the matter, if you run into other limitations please let me know!
