Hey Product Hunt! We are Marco, Colin, Trey, Ed, Thomas, Jermiasz, Corey, Alex & Derek For those of you who may not know who we are, Presearch is a Decentralized Search Engine. It allows you to search privately, receive better results and get rewarded powered by blockchain technology & the community. We're back & node rewards are live! What is a node you ask? First, Presearch Node software can be installed by anyone on their computer or excess server capacity to help power the new Presearch decentralized search engine. By running node software, operators help crawl the web for the information needed to answer user search queries. In exchange for providing computing resources, operators who stake PRE tokens can earn PRE rewards to offset the cost of hosting and provide incentive for more nodes to join the network and provide high-quality, reliable service. Nodes run in a software environment called Docker that is supported by all major operating systems and server platforms. The rewards are going out in 2 phases - the first was a one time stipend last night to our amazing node operators who helped during the beta period, the second will go live this evening and will be ongoing for node operators who contribute compute power to the search engine. Like being part of somehing new and big, trying to beat unfair big monopolies. Rewards for me are in secondary plane, but there they are, in a long-term basis strategy: you get them by searching and/or running a node. People running this are serious, and seem to have a great technological background. Strongly recommend!

Presearch is a great alternative to your global and monopolized search engine! Community is very friendly and can always give you a hand if you need it, also, you can get PRE tokens too, which you can reinvest into a Node! Today is my default search engine, and is not changing anytime soon!
