Post Purchase Promotions is the first Shopify app to offer 1-click upsells after checkout on Shopify through the use of order editing to add the products directly to the same order boosting AOV and customer lifetime value.
I originally created this app to offer Shopify merchants a better free gift with purchase experience but now offer upsells, cross-sells, and free gift promotional capabilities.
What makes this app different?
Unlike other post purchase applications, this app actually adds the product(s) to the same order - a first on the app store. Previous apps all create a new pre-filled checkout rather than adding the products to the same order. Lastly, most all existing 1-click upsell apps redirect the customer checkout experience offsite rather than leverage the native Shopify checkout experience.

To enable better conversions on promotions, the app offers a number of powerful eligibility rules:
- Order: target based on min/max order subtotals
- Product: target based on the products being ordered
- Customer: target based on the customer type (guest? first time customer?) and customer tag (VIP?)
- Country: target based on the country of shipment
- Discount: target based on discount codes used
Pricing model:
I did not want to gate specific features to tiers so instead there is a flat $10/mo recurring charge and then a usage based pricing model of $10/1000 orders and only orders shown a promotion count.
