The whole family uses Pocket Casts, and have been doing so for years. I can't say that of many apps I have downloaded. It is great seeing the continued development.
Hands down the best podcast player out there. It keeps your podcasts organized and playing in the right order like it’s no big deal - apparently, a concept some of its competitors are still wrestling with. And hey, it even remembers which episodes you've already listened to. What a concept!
I've been a satisfied user of Pocket Casts for many years. The Android app works great for me. It's easy to find and keep track of podcasts, and syncing them to my device works great. It has never occurred to me to even look for another podcasting app because Pocket Casts suits my needs so well. I haven't yet used the new web player, but I can see how it'd increase flexibility -- I don't necessarily want to listen from my phone while I'm at my desk, and now I don't have to.
Easy to use, easy to navigate, does what it should, and the podcasts are chefskiss.gif. :-) Nothing getting in the way of enjoying quality content. You can support the platform by going the Plus way, but nobody will be angry if you decide to keep going with the free version and listen to everything anyway.
