Pixel Music

Hello Product Hunt! 👋 I’m super happy to present a project I’ve tinkered with for about 4 years now: Pixel Music, a music sequencer based on images. I designed it for entertainment and to have fun with your images, as well as for more serious iOS music production, working as an audio unit (AUv3) plugin and supporting Ableton Link. My favorite part is sending MIDI to other synths when run as AUv3. The gist of it is that image pixels turn into pitch, velocity, and note durations. You can choose different types of information, such as RGB, Hue, or Saturation to control these. Plus, there are a lot of functions to control how the sequencers play - and - you can also play multiple images at the same time, in sync! 🎶 I’d be happy to hear your thoughts on this. Cheers
