Browsing the web in a non-native language? PhraseClip lets you highlight any word or phrase and see an instant translation right on the page. Every lookup is automatically saved to your personal dictionary with an example sentence and audio pronunciation.
I built PhraseClip because, as a non-native English speaker, I often skipped unfamiliar words while reading online. Copy-pasting them into a separate translator created just enough friction that learning opportunities slipped away. By making translation effortless, I hope to turn everyday browsing into an easy vocabulary lesson.
I’d love to know what you think—would this be useful to you?
@kielak2 PhraseClip makes vocabulary building part of everyday browsing – love that passive learning. Gave my support. Congrats on launch – I'm launching my product today too, feel free to check it out.
@busmark_w_nika Currently as native language we support: English, Spanish, French, German, Polish and Swedish. And as language you can learn: English, Spanish, French, German.
@kielak2 I think this is a solid starter pack, my reckoning is that people will also try something harder or "exotic" – like Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Hindi.

Adding new languages is pretty straightforward on our end. If there’s a specific pair you’d like, let me know and we can add it for you.
This looks so much more efficient than my current workflow for dealing with non-native language websites.

what is your workflow and what apps are you using, we are thinking of a way to integrate with other apps?
