Hey PH!
I am happy to announce that today I am launching my new service - Page Health 🚀
📖 Story
The idea of this service was born at my work.
I and my colleagues were doing a lot of work about page speed
performance and at the some moment I realized that we have came so far,
that we lost control of what was happening.
In most cases, we just knew that on that page the metrics were red,
followed the advice from Google and they turned green.
But when they suddenly went down again, it was very difficult to say what exactly influenced
this.
That's why I decided to create this service. It helps a lot to understand what gone wrong.
You can collect data manually from the UI, daily or even with webhook, which can be used by CI/CD scripts.
Also, You can sign the data collection. For example - "add-new-feature" or "big-refactor" and etc.
🚀 More about features
✅ Chrome User Experience Reports - It is a historical report about how your pages has performed, and represents performance data from users in the real-world.
These metrics have a direct impact on Google Search Page Ranking.
✅ Lighthouse Metrics - provides useful insights for your site's performance.
Сheck the success stories of other businesses and how web performance optimization impacts on business metrics.
✅ Code Coverage - The amount of javascript code has a straight impact on page loading time, which in turn affects many business metrics.
With us, You can control how much code is actually used on your pages.
💰 Revenue
Page Health has two pricing plans:
- Basic with 14-day trial
- Essential with 14-day trial
The main difference between them is the number of pages to collect data from.
🥅 Next
I have plans to include weekly digest mailing about performance data changes.
Also, I am open to users suggestions and ready to build what they need.
🛠Making
Frontend is tailored with Angular and Taiga UI for main application and Tailwind with raw html for landing page.
Serverside is built with NestJS, Heroku and PostgreSQL.
This is my 1st project and I am super excited about it.
A bad ass tool for thick ass websites. I'm always too lazy to check all the pages after devs make a new release, so every single time I lose money on another ill-behaving React component that loads 15 seconds on 3G network and kills conversion of my paid US traffic.
Now it seems that I've got a tool to check all stuff that can go wrong in one place. WIll play around with it for a while.
