For my work monitoring data changes in a Mac app, I first tried using OCR on screenshots. But it just blindly extracted ALL text - I couldn't tell which data was relevant! Here's a simple example:
Take a game interface screenshot with character names, HP, gold, etc. OCR dumps everything out with no context - you can't even identify which number is the HP!
That's why I created OpenPao.com. It combines custom vision models with OCR for precise extraction. Just upload a game screenshot, tell it you want the HP, and boom - you get clean HP data in JSON format. It can extract anything you need!
For developers only, you just need to pass in an image and tell it what you want to get. For general users, I'm developing an app called Dog Pao, which can be used to monitor data changes in any application and extract data from any app.

Pricing note: I'm running two A100 GPU servers on AWS and Google - crazy expensive! But I'm not looking to profit, just cover costs while solving real problems. At $0.0006 per image, this is literally the lowest price possible.
