Supercapacitors have come down massively in cost, and big shifts in markets when technology cost curves hit certain inflection points like this one. The big idea here is that batteries overall will actually be replaced with batteries like Ohm, and by the time Diehard and the incumbents realize it, they won't be able to catch up.
Finally an innovation in battery technology! So smart to just use supercapacitors. It's rare that you use the battery without the car running. Can't wait to see this in every car and motorcycle, although I'm concerned that this will be short lived due to the increasing presence of electric vehicles. Maybe I'm missing something but it seems to only make sense on vehicles powered by fossil fuels.
