Notionlayer is a tool for building documentation, hiring pages, knowledge bases, and more using Notion. At version alpha, we are servicing makers that would like to have custom domains in an affordable way.
Hi Product Hunt!
We are excited to release Notionlayer, our tool to connect custom domains to Notion in an affordable way.
This tool came into existence, due to our need to create multiple different documentation pages for our numerous tools. We find Notion Sites to be very convenient, but we wanted to run them on our own domains, however, our need for multiple domains made many of the existing tools extremely expensive for us.
We put in some extra work to convert our progress into a product. We are planning to extend our feature set for our purpose, but since we believe in releasing early and often, we decided to release this alpha version with the ability to set custom domains.
For support and feature requests please feel free to contact us.

@devas Thanks for the great question.
We are trying to build a small community around this product to shape its feature. Current version is more or less like hosted Fruition, though implementation belongs to us. As of now, we will handle updates for you, as changes in Notion may break Fruition/Notionlayer from time to time. Therefore the cheap $2 price point.
We are currently switching to a faster approach based on Notion API, which will bring more speed, and better SEO.
We also have some features in mind like authentication, paywalls, easily embeddable payment, customer support widgets, more choices in analytics, a theme gallery, and more.
If you are looking for a similar product, would love to have a quick chat to discuss your needs and see if we can be of help.
@utkuturunc Thanks for the response. SEO friendliness and website responsiveness are the two reasons I don't use Fruition myself. I was also getting ugly url page loads & then redirects.
I think the price points of competing Notion-hosted services are way too high for anyone who isn't already fully committed to Notion. $2 price point is extremely fair. Would love to see a lifetime deal for early adopters though :-)
@devas please shoot an email to utku@onelayer.io
we can make you a tester for the SEO friendly version, already being tested at https://docs.notionlayer.com. for now we can offer 3 free months for the testing period. after that, if you like the service and think you can get more out of it, we will happily give a lifetime deal, or provide you with an alternative
I find notionlayer very good. Helped us get our notion site up and running, very quickly and effortlessly. Very important for us because we wanted to see our MVP live and get a feeling where we are going. Its very cheap (much cheaper than super.so for example) and yet pretty robust. I can suggest it. The developers answer quickly if you have requests.
