Hi all, We do two things: 1. We open up an advertising channel that has generally been hard to make use of. 2. We try to help small and medium sized podcasters reach monetization faster. On our new platform podcasters can list their podcast, topic and a price for how much it would cost to place an ad on a podcast-episode. Advertisers can then easily search through all the listed podcast, to find one that fits them and place an "order" for an ad on a particular podcast. All is easily and securely done through the platform. Think of it similar to an Airbnb-platform, where the owners of apartments are the podcasters and the ones searching for apartments are the advertisers. Here is an example of how it works: Let’s say you have a coffee podcast and you talk about the different sorts of coffees and what you like and so forth. Maybe you also talk about your favorite coffee grinders and other coffee-tools. An advertiser like peets.com (a coffee eCom store) sees your offer on our platform and places an order for an ad on your podcast. The listed sponsorship price is $200. Peets.com writes a line and a coupon code that the podcaster should communicate to his/her listeners in the first 20 seconds of the next podcast-episode. The podcaster sees a match between peets.com and his/her coffee-podcast, and accepts the deal. In the next podcast episode the sponsorship message is communicated. The podcaster would then get the full $200 amount paid out to his/her bank account minus 15%. Everything is handled through Stripe. The 15% we charge is a fee to keep the marketplace running and for marketing purposes to attract the right advertisers to use the platform. I hope this is interesting for some people in here.
