I'm Sami and I am the CEO and Co-founder of My Film Buzz. My Film Buzz provides users with movie ratings that are tailored to their personal tastes and preferences. Ratings that are based on connections made within the app with other users who share similar tastes.
We believe that existing movie ratings systems are broken, they provide one rating that is expected to be relevant to everyone; ratings of which can often be biased or skewed.
We all have friends that share our particular taste in movies. Those friends that recommend great movies to us because they understand us and know exactly what we like. This is the true measurement of quality which is what the My Film Buzz rating system is based on and makes us different.
By connecting with your friends, you will get a personalised movie rating based on their votes. In this way your score is completely personal to you and your unique network.
You will also influence the scores of the friends that follow you, and anyone else on the platform that is interested in your point of view. You can share a more detailed opinion of a particular movie in the movie comments page. Users can also find new people to follow with the same taste in movies using the unique Compatibility Rings.
