This was very promising. I used it during COVID and thought that this will be a game-changer for presentations. However, like COVID it disappeared as well.
Mmhmm hijacks the camera and microphone when you try to use software like Zoom or Microsoft Teams, meaning that you cannot present properly. Even after uninstalling mmhmm from my system using all of the company's recommendations and help, I am still suffering from mmhmm hijacking my microphone (i.e., not letting it work) anytime I use Microsoft Teams. I have been on many support calls with mmhmm and wasted so much time (multiple uninstalls, multiple troubleshooting sessions, multiple times having to demonstrate to new mmhmm reps that the problem persists, multiple times being told mmhmm is off my computer but then finding yet more mmhmm files lurking on my computer). I strongly advise anyone considering installing mmhmm to not do so. ...especially since the program makes you devote so much screen space to random brick wall (or other) imagery, anyway, instead of letting you fill the display space entirely with your slides (reflecting lack of awareness of users' needs and the importance of screen "real estate" needing to reflect pertinent imagery or information). I have never had a program be so tenaciously un-delete-able.
