Hello Product Hunt community! 👋 First of all, a big THANK YOU to @benln for hunting us! I’m excited to share what @colin_elsinga and I spent the past few months building, and am looking forward to any feedback/questions you may have. Metriport is essentially the Swiss Army knife of personal tracking apps, and aims to deprecate the days where you a need separate app for tracking mood, another for spending, another for habits, another for journaling, another for health, and so on. With Metriport, you can track whatever you’re interested in tracking, all in one customizable and privacy-focused platform. AI-powered insights in Metriport allow you to find correlations between metrics, for a better understanding of your health, fitness, and more. For example, this could help shed light on things like whether your caffeine intake is affecting your resting heart rate, or whether your meditation practice has been having a positive impact on your anxiety levels. 📊 Metriport will let you: - Track mood, symptoms, nutrition, finances, fitness, menstrual cycles, habits, or whatever else you’re interested in tracking. - Own your personal data with encrypted local storage, including the ability to export, import and delete your data anytime. - Sync with Apple Health & Google Fit, for seamless wearable device integration. - Personalize your experience with customizable metrics, charts, icons, colors, and app themes. - Create daily prompts with custom messages, to hold yourself accountable for data entries. - Get AI-powered daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly insights into your data. - Compare, visualize, and analyze any of your metrics to discover correlations. - … and more! A bit about our story: We’re a team of 2 developers who have known each other for over a decade. A few months ago, we left our full-time software engineering jobs to bootstrap Metriport from scratch without any outside investment. Before we built Metriport, we were both tracking various things about our lives through a combination of apps, and digital/physical notes. We wanted to have a platform where we could track whatever we wanted to track all in one place, find interesting patterns in our own personal data, and have ownership over that data. Our shared interest in data visualization, AI/ML, and health-tech, lead us to conceptualize our ideal ‘intelligent personal data dashboard’. After hunting around for existing solutions, we could not find what we were looking for, and found other popular apps in the space to be quite limiting with annoying paywalls, underwhelming functionality, and hard-coded features. So, after enough talk, we decided to build Metriport with the following criteria: - Make a platform that’s as open-ended as possible, in order to leave it up to the user to define use cases for their personal needs. - Architect it in a way that’s as extensible as possible, so that the sky is the limit with future feature development. - Offer as much as possible for free, never take any functionality away, and only make the product better for all users with continued development. - Prioritize privacy with full data ownership, encryption, and use no ad tracking technology (even at the expense of our own marketing). - Have it user-friendly enough where even non-technical individuals can harness AI/ML to operate on their own personal data. We’re just getting started, and have a broad vision for where we want to take this thing. We see a future where more people use increasingly advanced health-tech devices, and Metriport will be the go-to platform to track and make use of all your personal data, automated or otherwise. I used to be really keen on lifelogging and similar services but hadn't seen much movement in the space lately. Love what I'm reading/seeing here, excited to give this a whirl!

I've been using Metriport for a couple of weeks now and I love it. I even convinced my wife to use it for her workouts. I love the customization offerings as we have babies and can use the app to track all sorts of baby tasks. Definitely recommending!
