Thanks for hunting us @__tosh Greetings, Product Hunt! We are excited to announce the Memorizer app, where everything you like (books, movies, concerts, places…) is easily centralized, organized and shared. It all comes from a single figure: 90%! We forget around 90% of everything we do or want to do. That could be a pretty efficient way for our brains to make space for important things. BUT we (the founders, the team, our investors… and most of all our users) think that in modern times, this cleaning process is kind of disturbed by our crazy lives and things we want to remember get erased too. OUR SOLUTION -> MAKE YOUR LIFE MEMORABLE 📱 Simple, if not obvious! We tried to create something as simple as possible, accessible to anyone from 14 to 94 years-old and 100% dedicated to the matter: next gen lists of memories! From books you found interesting to movie recommendations heard on TV, to gift ideas for your Christmas shopping… just use your “super-app to remember everything”. 📸 Visual memory sticks longer: A memory contains at least one picture. You can take it from your gallery or our search engine will find one for you. 🤖 Technology serving human brains: We really don’t want you to use your own memory less. We work on the best mobile technologies, APIs and our artificial intelligence to help you store, retrieve the info… and improve your ability to keep memories alive, for real. 🧘‍♀️ Feel-good productivity: On Memorizer you’ll store things you want to do, not the ones you have to do. 👭 Power of networks: Memorizer helps you share high quality content so easily… that anyone could do it. This could create an invaluable stream of experiences to live based on the memories stored by your network. List of core features • Create a memory from our search engine or your own photos • Artificial intelligence that offers categorization + enriched information such as author, summary… (available on books, films, series and places) • Gallery scan to create memories at the speed of light • Create Top 10’s per category • Browse your friends’ feed to add golden nuggets to your to-do lists The team and I would be very happy to receive any type of love, advice and feedback! 🙂 Well, that’s it…we wish you a memorable life ;) Charles

Well done team! Slick app. What are some surprising ways people are using Memorizer? I feel there could be a number of categories I remembered more things in if I just build the habit.

@gabhubert Hi Gabriel and thanks for your support! We currently have around 100 categories supported by our AI. But 10 of them represents 80% of the 400 000 memories already published! Those categories are mainly entertainment and food categories : movies, books, series, restaurants, recipes... That said, we've noticed that people with memories in "secondary" categories (like concerts, exhibitions, quotes, shopping ideas...) have a greater retention! So clearly the challenge is : "how do you make people discover other type of usage?". Given we want to be in our users' daily life that will be one of the key factor of our success.

@gabhubert also when we look at the 750 ratings on the app store, around 1 out of 2 are asking for custom/personalized lists. (I want to do the list of my Kitesurf spots for ex) So that's the next thing coming in the rodmap. No doubt we'll see a lot of creativity from users!

Nice app, I tried it on android and saved a couple of memories so far. I can see this helping me to to remember fun things I've seen or done. Ah, I see can add a list, so I chose to add "Hiking", because I want to remember the places I have visited (and I take a lot of pictures). Nice that you thought of that!

I’ve been using it for a while and simply put it’s replaced Notes or any other app for books, wines, tv shows, films, and restaurants I want to remember to check out. The attention to detail throughout the app and the satisfaction of natively moving an item from “to do” to done are great. I’m not sharing results as much as I could be yet but to have the option to do it is fantastic! The teams puts a lot of love into this app, it shows. Home screen status since 2021 for me.
