Good platform, but not so good social network. Lacks of innovation during last years.
If you are in a new city and don't know anyone yet, open Meetup, joing a few events, and you will have very soon new friends, clients or vendors :-)
Slow and buggy interface!! Such a poor experience since messaging is inconsistent and unreliable. Comments can not be edited. URL links are strangely escaped so pins from Apple Maps do not get hyperlinked properly. Trying to monetize a platform where users do not want to pay for a subscription is a failing business model
