Just downloaded it and started the free trial but you already lost me, at least for what I'm presently doing which is a keto diet. Why don't you allow us to customize macros ourselves? With keto I need to keep carbs under 30g/day but that doesn't appear possible in the app now 😕 Any plans to change that?
@brianedeer Keto has been a very popular request and starting tomorrow we'll be investigating the fastest possible way we an get it in to the app! I hope you'll stay tuned for the update :-)

Looking very interesting!
I'm just curious about your pricing strategy. What's the advantage of MPP and its subscription based model compared to FitMenCook and its one-time purchase ?
Also have you considered offering a free tier with limited functions rather than a 1 week trial ? I think users would be more enticed to subscribe if they could test the app and see the benefits in a longer period of time rather than a single week.
@jpvalery It's a great question and we had a debate about this inside the team. I've heard a lot of conflicting opinions. Some people think just move the trial and in app purchase right to the start as it'll mean people really try out the app rather than download it and think "oh, I'll get to it later" and then never get to it. The truth is it's impossible to know for certain what the best choice is until we've done some split testing. If our first release goes well it would be really interesting to test a version where it's open and you can try it out for as long as you want. With paywalls at key points.
@andreaskam thanks for the reply 😄 you didn't address the first question about what's the advantage of MPP compared to FMC though 😉
I just discovered both apps today, and I'm trying to figure out what are their advantages and which one is best for me
@andreaskam@jpvalery
The most simplistic way to answer this one - is to say that FitMenCook is like a recipe book - a fantastic book, full of variety, but fairly rigid by its nature.
MealPrepPro goes a step further by becoming a personalised nutrition plan. Ingredients and recipes get selected/changed/scaled specifically to your calorie requirements and wellness goals.
When you consider that every single ingredient in MealPrepPro recipes has its own macro nutritional information (carbs, fats, fibres, proteins & more) you'll understand why it can become a powerful toolkit for those seeking control of their nutrition.
