With Mastodon increasing in popularity I was a bit surprised that currently Mastodon does not offer useful analytics for your account out of the box. The Mastodon developers are, understandably so, hesitant to adding analytics or engagement-metric focused features into the core experience, as it may negatively influence the Mastodon atmosphere.
Which is why I set out to build MastoMetrics: an opt-in analytics tool for those interested in getting a better understanding of their community. MastoMetrics provides a unique view on your posts, so you can learn what resonates with your community.
