Hey everyone!
Excited to share our latest project - Maker Cardz! Our goal with this project is to ultimately begin mapping and highlighting makers (Note: we deliberately aren't limiting this to founders) across all industries.
We want to inspire people of all ages to learn more about the people behind their favorite products and companies.
If people love this as much as we do, we are planning on releasing an entire portfolio of digital products to enhance our Cardz. We will also be releasing a new set every month - each batch is only printed once!☝
Lastly, Ryan Hoover agreed to have some fun with our initial pack and sign a few limited edition cards for a good cause! 🔑🔥😎
Thanks everyone and happy to answer any questions 🦄
@nickatloot Can we nominate @rrhoover to be the first shiny?
I think back and it was nerdy in school to be playing Pokemon cards. Hearing of this in the playground is going to be even nerdier.
AND I LOVE IT! haha
@nickatloot Love This! Always wanted someone to do this! I grew up collecting sports cards, but this is more like it! Also, I recently saw these posted on Twitter by someone that saw them at a conference? (I think that's what it was) Anyway, I was hoping they were going to be an actual "thing". *Supported on Kickstarter right away!
These are so cool! Kids of all ages are inspired by athletes, musicians, and movie stars, but getting inspired by entrepreneurs at a young age... not so much. It took me 2 years after college to get exposure to and start looking up to (and learn from) people like @Naval, Elon Musk, @Sacca, and other luminaries (which I wrote about here).
Maker Cards like these can go a long way in getting kids into entrepreneurship early. It just takes one little thing to relate to for someone to get inspired 🙏
