Hi Hunters, 👋 I’m Mahesh, co-founder of Loom.ai. And I’m excited to share LoomieLive - your personal 3d avatars for video. Want to see our Loomie avatars in action or ask us some questions? We will be live in Zoom 8am-9am PT and 12noon-1pm PT here: 📡 http://bit.ly/LoomieLive-Zoom-Link There’s been a massive growth in using video for communication - both synchronous video calls and asynchronous video recordings. But despite the massive growth, often people don't want to be on camera. Some are camera-shy, while others are fatigued, and many others simply don't want their colleagues/classmates to see their ‘home office’. And when we do want to be on camera, there are times that we want to choose how we are expressed. Perhaps you would like a quick makeover and appear with a different hairstyle or outfit. Or maybe your company prefers a consistent branded presence for all of their video tutorials. LoomieLive can help. LoomieLive offers the privacy of voice with the presence of video. To get started: Open the LoomieLive app, then select “LoomieLive Camera” in the webcam options in your favorite application, grab your headphones (we lip sync from audio), and go! Use one of our three modes to animate your avatar: Voice only, Video, or AR. Each has its own unique benefits. Try it out - you can use your avatars in so many popular video applications such as Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Webex, Discord, Twitch Studio, OBS, Loom, and more. As a bonus for Product Hunt: look out for a Google Glass-wearing kitten in one of the 3D environments! 🐈 Looking forward to hearing your comments and suggestions.

@mahesh_ramas does it work with Loom? Your video mentions it..
Tijmen Verhulsdonck
@mahesh_ramas @iamroguelondon Yes you can also use our avatars for recording screen casts on loom.com!

@mahesh_ramas @timen_ver this is great for people with social anxiety. When will the business plan have pricing? I’m not a fan on branding not being able to be removed...
Tijmen Verhulsdonck
@mahesh_ramas @iamroguelondon Yes this can really help with social anxiety and reducing what is called "zoom fatigue"! For specific information regarding pricing including custom branding please contact sales via: https://www.loomielive.com/pricing

Maybe I've just never seen other products like this, but holy sh**. This solves a big need for me. I can't stand having my camera on for Zoom calls and feeling tied to my desk/computer. So I usually open Zoom on my machine and call in from the phone so I can move around, and hence keep my camera off. Others in my company keep theirs on, and sometimes I feel like I'm not being a part of the team by doing so. I downloaded this and tried it out, and I have to say, while not of course the "real" me, it gives the impression that you're actually talking with the person. I think this is a great product from first glance. Will try it out on a call this afternoon.

Hmm..I am having trouble getting Zoom to show "Loomie" as a video option. Do I need to completely uninstall Zoom and re-install on my machine? Restarting did not seem to work.
Kiran Bhat
@sean_foster1 : If you have Zoom v5.2 or above, it should work. Could you take a quick look at our FAQ page: https://loom-ai.gitbook.io/loomi... and see if that helps. One other option is to open a support ticket under Settings (gear icon) --> Contact Us.
Sean Foster
@kiran_bhat1 After re-installing Zoom it worked correctly. Thanks for the reply.
Mahesh Ramasubramanian
@sean_foster1 great that you want to try it out! Let us try to solve the issue you are having. Two things worth trying: one is that you should be on the latest Zoom v5.2 or above (prior to that Zoom was blocking all virtual camera apps including snap camera). 2nd: Have LoomieLive be running first and then open Zoom fresh (so that it "sees" the LoomieLive virtual camera). Curious: are you on a mac or win10?
Kiran Bhat
@sean_foster1: Yes! Improved privacy + presence from voice in Zoom calls is a key motivator for us to build this product.

Wow these look incredible -- good job! Sometimes avatars look a bit creepy -- these are super fun and strike the right balance between cartoony and realistic. 💯👨‍💻
Kiran Bhat
@petecashmore: Really appreciate that awesome feedback! We've tried to balance between professional/recognizable and cartoony/fun to make avatars appeal to the mainstream users across different use cases.
Mahesh Ramasubramanian
@petecashmore That's music to our ears! Such a hard balance to strike, especially when live-tracking animation is involved and we also want it to appeal to a wide gamut of use-cases. Thanks for the encouragement!

@kiran_bhat1 Hello, how can I uninstall Loomie.live completely? I've already uninstalled it but it's still listed as an option in my list of video sources. There's no other way to contact you guys as Roblox only allows support ticket submission for submissions with a valid username, which I do not have since I'm not a Roblox user. Please help, thank you!
