Logo Lab puts logos to the test. Simply upload a logo, and you’ll be presented with visual experiments that test key factors like scalability, silhouette, and balance. Easily determine where a logo succeeds and where it could use some improvement.
Hi guys! Good logos tend have a few common characteristics. This includes being able to be used at different size, inside various containers, in color or black and white, ect.
We created Logo Lab to be an easy way to quickly test the most common qualities a good logo should have.
It’s great for showing clients where their current logo fails and where a newly designed logo succeeds.
It’s also great for people just starting out in logo design who want to ensure they are following best practices.
Love this tool, @bransshep. I just ran the Product Hunt "P" logo through it and fortunate we're safe (which is expected, considering how simple the logo is).
@timwinfree When you upload an image, if its not of the right type, you should get an error message below the upload button saying "File must be a PNG or SVG!". It works in our testing, not sure why it wouldn't work on your end.
@brettsshep Sorry, Brett, you're right. I had used a png with a solid white background (which I just assumed must be a jpeg). I suppose my suggestion then might be to tell users it's expecting a transparent png.
