I’ve had a really great time working on Lofi Limo — that’s my 24/7 streaming music service for studying, working, and relaxing — since it launched right here on Product Hunt. It’s been a pleasure to brighten so many days and connect artists with their fans. The work has been fun too, though not without difficulties. One particular difficulty has been delivering a truly first-class listening experience on iOS with a web app. So, for the past several months, I’ve been working on a native iOS app for listeners who would like to listen on their phones! Not only have I been able to address the difficulties I saw — like reliable background audio and Now Playing integration — I’ve also been able to add some slick gestures and animations that I think would have been clunky or impractical to do with web tech.
