League Frame is a freestanding 7.5” electronic paper display that shows football league tables, recent results, upcoming fixtures, and latest scores. No phone fumbling required – League Frame is always on and handsfree. All major European leagues are covered.
Hi! I’m Craig – a football fan and the founder of League Frame.
I often struggled to remember when my team were playing next or where they were in the league. I would bury my head in my phone to find out, but then forget the answers only minutes later and have to look again! This got me wondering if there was an easier way.
I also used to print out football league tables for my young son to study in his room. With several matchdays every week, it was tough to keep him supplied with the latest version! This also got me wondering if there was an easier way.
What if I could have a display that always showed the very latest version of the league table? What if it also showed me the upcoming fixtures? What if it was always there when I needed it, and didn’t require any tapping, scrolling, or printing? The idea for League Frame was born.
Over the last 9 months, I have built League Frame to be the ultimate always-on answer to those footballing questions. It can sit on your desk, your kitchen counter, or anywhere with a Wi-Fi signal. It keeps you up to date at a glance, and it uses an energy efficient (and very cool-looking) 7.5-inch electronic paper display!
Thank you for checking out League Frame. I’d love to hear your feedback and answer any questions!
@craig_williamson I love the teletext esq 'dumb tech' nostaigia of this! Is it a case of defining your preferred league in settings or can you swipe across europe, like a weather app? Good luck with the launch!
I love the simplicity of this. Where is the data be piped in from? How do you guarantee the reliability of that service? Basically, how do you make sure this thing still works 5 years down the road?
@product_at_producthunt The raw data is sourced from a commecial API (there are many options for such services), but then processed, formatted and distributed from our own cloud servers to the devices. This gives us the flexibility to add new features and even new data sources in the future.
@brian_edwards7 Hi Brian! Lots of ideas for future features. Indeed, lineups and match events are definitely on the roadmap. Thank you for your interest!
