LaborX offers attractive conditions for freelancers, as there are no fees deducted from their earnings on the platform. I used LaborX to hire a designer and saved a significant amount on the fees that are typically charged on other platforms. The commission for clients is only 0%, which is also a major plus. I highly appreciate this aspect of LaborX, and it's one of the reasons why I continue to use this platform for hiring freelancers in the cryptocurrency and blockchain field.
My first attempt at using LaborX was a total shitshow. Even though there are plenty of job offers on the platform and the option to pay with cryptocurrency or buy crypto with USD, I ran into several problems. Firstly, the activation email didn't arrive right away, which dragged out the registration process. Secondly, the gas fee for the contract in the Ethereum network was too damn high, which significantly increased the cost of the job. Additionally, the freelancer I worked with missed the deadline, and I had to wait for a refund for a whole 3 days, which was inconvenient.
Another drawback is the lack of real-time communication options with freelancers on the LaborX platform. It would be beneficial to have an integrated messenger or messaging system to facilitate communication between clients and freelancers.
Some features of the platform, such as search result filtering and request management, could be improved for easier usability. Sometimes it was difficult to find certain settings or functions, and a clearer and simpler platform navigation could enhance the user experience.
Additionally, it would be helpful to have the ability to save search filters, so we wouldn't have to configure them again every time we look for projects on LaborX.
