Millions of across entire industries have lost their primary source of income in the past few weeks.
@AliceMa and I were inspired by Shea Serrano's generous donation campaign on Twitter. People reached out explaining how they were impacted by coronavirus, shared proof of a financial need, and a quick way to receive support.
After Shea maxed out his daily Venmo limit, a beautiful thing happened. Everyone else started chipping in! When everything seems to be going wrong, our inner humanity starts to shine. 🌟
We built kindness4corona.com to make it easy for anyone to contribute to those who need it most. You can donate directly to an individual or contribute to the campaign where we'll split funds evenly across each submission.
Our team manually review submissions daily, including proof of identity (government ID) and proof of need (invoices, billing statements, etc) to ensure no one is taking advantage of our collective generosity.
We've already contributed $50 to every single submission, totaling $1525. Let's keep the momentum going - please donate or share :) 💕
What kindness 4 corona is doing to help people is amazing, Bhaumik has been so dedicated to helping everyone who has asked for help he never has forgotten any of the people and continues to keep in contact checking in. Kindness 4 corona truly makes a difference in people's lives lifting the tremendous burden on struggling families, it's a wonderful organization.
