UPDATE 9 months later I was recently reached to by the Head of Operations at Kickoff. They read my review and was able to refund my purchase from 9 months ago. I do appreciate this and they were very kind as well. I'll be adjusting my review to 3 stars here as I think its fair since my initial experience was not the best. Thanks to Kickoff for correcting this. Leaving my original review below. I recently signed up for Kickoff and picked a coach. I got a welcome text and messaged my coach a good time for a consultation call. 1 week later I never heard anything from my coach, never received a workout plan or nutrition plan that was promised. This is all fine but what led me to make this review is when I contacted support for a refund I was told "Unfortunately we cannot offer refunds because it is financially unsustainable for the coach and for Kickoff". This didn't make any sense because I never even received any service from kickoff or a coach.
I have been with Kickoff for several years and couldn't be happier. I am 50 years old and have always wanted to get healthier but going to the gym was too intimidating. When I discovered Kickoff, it was like it was made for people like me. When I was first matched with my initial coach, I felt like we were not connecting (our personalities were just different) and I was immediately matched with Andrea (which I love by the way! You're not just stuck with whoever you get matched with. You can try different coaches). She has always listened to my input and customizes my workout to fit in with whatever is happening in my life, making sure I stay consistent. She stays in daily contact with me and holds me accountable for my workouts and my eating habits. I have never felt better and my mental health has definitely improved
I’m so happy with kickoff! My coach, Jessie, is really wonderful. She is kind and patient with me as I’m figuring out what works best for me long term. I didn’t know what I was looking for in a coach, but after a switch, I found an amazing trainer in Jessie who tells me all the good things I’m doing, pushes me in a caring way, and makes me feel like I’m worth it!
I have had the absolute best experience with my amazing coach, Jessie! Every morning I am greeted by her encouraging texts, checking in about how I am feeling and discussing the previous days exercise, food and drink choices. If there is something I am struggling with, she provides the expertise and knowledge to help me get around the issue and most importantly, with my crazy schedule, she is able to alter my workouts to exactly what I need, whether I am at a traditional gym or don’t have time to go to the gym or at a hotel gym. She is 100% consistent and she really cares. I am feeling so much stronger and have lost some weight and would recommend this app to anyone, including my fabulous coach!
I have been using Kickoff for a year. It is a perfect app which tailors exercise programs as I need. Whether I need to pass a fitness test or recovering from surgery my trainer, Chase has helped and motivated me along the way. My programs are adapted to meet my individual needs.
