The team behind Katalist clearly have the expertise and determination to make this platform one of the must have tools for storytelling in this new AI era. I've tested several different storyboarding apps recently and Katalist was the clear winner, both in terms of features and overall ease of use. I wish the team all the best with their launch.

this software is trying to fill a niche that is very sought after: creating a consistent narative together with images.
Tricky marketing. Offering a trial period that is limited without saying it's limited, they don't allow you to change plans. I chose the expensive tier, thinking it would apply for the duration of the trial but then after 50 credits you are limited and they ONLY allow you to continue and buy the tier you chose. The program itself seems ok, but the way they lie to you turned me off. Funnily enough, if they were more transparent with their trial offer, I probably would have continued to a paid plan.. but now to find a competing software that does the trick.
A big shoutout to Andraz, Katalist, and the team. The Katalist system is robust, highly creative, and easy to navigate. Online and in-system help is excellent, timely, and nothing is too much trouble. I made a yearly payment and soon after the design brief changed, meaning my need for Katalist had become redundant. I contacted Andraz and, importantly, I was honest about why I needed a refund, amended for time and services used. It could have gone pear-shaped right there but, to his high credit, it didn’t. It’s not always just about a good product. Sometimes, it’s about how a business acts when things change or go wrong. Andraz and the team were great to deal with. They understood my situation and were very quick to resolve it. Based on my direct experience I’d say you can feel comfortable they’re worth trusting. This is a completely unprompted and genuine review. We need to support the up-and-coming businesses that really get it right.
