Designed to track and visualize a user's performance on the slopes. The app includes features such as ski stats, a 2D and 3D map, friend tracking, and a unique feature where a tree is planted for every level reached by the user.
As a snowboard-loving goofball, I was always looking for ways to improve my performance on the slopes (and impress the ski bunnies). I wanted a way to track my stats on the slopes, visualize my route, and compare my progress over time; So i created iSlope.
I included a 2D and 3D map as well as a find friend on the mountain feature, allowing users to visualize their route and track their progress and see their friends on the map. This allows users to see their progress over time and compare their performances, or to see if they have been skiing in circles all day.
But I didn't stop there. I wanted to make iSlope stand out from other ski tracker apps, and I knew that one way to do that was by incorporating a unique and meaningful feature. That's when I came up with the idea of planting a tree for every level reached by the user.
As users track their ski days and reach certain milestones, they will earn points and achievements. When enough points and badges are collected, a new level is reached and a tree will be planted for the user. I wanted to make a positive impact on the environment and I hope that this feature will encourage people to track their ski days more often, and also help the earth breathe a little easier.
