I am a designer, I worked in several companies, but not big names like Apple, so it was not so easy for me to find a job when layoffs happened (yes, they happen not only in big companies) So I tried different freelance platforms, but they are too focused on project work and I was looking for something more long-term (several part-time or one full-time job). I was looking for a job for about 5 months and finally found it, thanks to a contact I got on Intch. So I am happy.
the intch update is seriously dope. Job relevance is way up, and support helped me get a job despite some bugs.
The network of contacts is limited and the subscription cost is not recovered. The concept of share capital is poorly implemented. I will not renew my subscription.
A former colleague invited me to leave a review about himself. I liked the way his resume looked on intch and the concept was pretty cool. So I registered and paid for a year. I like that the site hasn't become cluttered with posts about successful success yet and is focused on finding a job or advice or consultations
Honestly, at first I wasn’t sure if Intch was the right platform for me. I’m a designer and wasn’t getting the kind of jobs I wanted, but after I added some recommendations from old colleagues, the job offers got better. Now I’ve got way more connections, and it feels like I’m more visible to the right people.
The design is so clean, feels more like a social app than a job board. Searching for work doesn’t feel like a chore, which is a huge win in my book. Could use a few more industries, but overall, solid experience
The platform is about job search, but in general there are a lot of cool guys here, with whom you can network, many c levels. I use intch to search for a job + on professional issues, when I need an expert consultation + so that someone can recommend someone to hire (designers, developers, marketing)
