Hotsuto gives you a unique burner email to use to sign up for your favorite newsletters, so you don't even have to worry about cleaning up your inbox. They all end up here in an easy to navigate and manage blog like infrastructure
Hey everybody!
I, like many of you, subscribe to an insane number of newsletters that I am SUPER interested in, but never read. (This is sad, horrible, dishonorable, shameful)
For most of them, I regretfully pop them into a Gmail category soon to be lost to the sands of time.
That's why my buddy Armen Suny built Hotsuto. An easy digest for newsletters in your inbox. Like pocket for newsletters.
@travis_page Hi Travis,
I came across your announcement for Hotsuto and I'm intrigued! As a fellow newsletter subscriber who often struggles to keep up with the volume, I can definitely relate to the need for a more efficient solution.
The issue of newsletter overload is a real challenge for many people, and Hotsuto's approach of providing an easy digest in the inbox seems like a promising solution. I'm particularly interested in the potential for Hotsuto to:
- Intelligently prioritize and filter newsletters based on user preferences, ensuring that the most important and relevant content gets the attention it deserves.
- Offer customization options to tailor the digest to individual needs, allowing users to control the frequency, format, and content of the digest.
- Seamlessly integrate with popular email clients and productivity tools to streamline the newsletter management process.
As a full stack developer with a keen interest in newsletter management solutions, I'd be excited to discuss potential collaboration opportunities with you. Here are a few ideas:
- Contribute to user research and feedback gathering to ensure Hotsuto is addressing the needs of its target audience.
- Assist in the development of new features that enhance the functionality and usability of Hotsuto.
- Help engage with the Hotsuto community through forums, social media, or other channels.
Overall, I'm impressed with the concept of Hotsuto and I believe it has the potential to make a significant impact on how people manage their newsletters. I'd be happy to discuss these ideas further if you're interested in exploring potential collaboration.
In the meantime, I'll be signing up for Hotsuto to experience its features firsthand.
Thanks,
Max
Hey @travis_page thanks for hunting this for me!
In the era of SEO spam and inbox spam, its harder to find stuff that you actually want to check out. So voila!
I wanted to play around with ActionMailbox, it had been out since rails 6 and I never really had any cause to use it. Simultaneously my inbox was being destroyed so I connected some dots and voila!
This went from Idea to launch in ~3 weeks.
Today I'm building out a weekly digest feature, and once that wraps up (unless one you brave readers reprioritizes things for me) I'll be building a Gmail integration to change your subscriptions over to Hotsuto from your real inbox.
This is a pretty cool product! Honestly, that's why I only read newsletters in Substack app and opt to not receive them in my email. Though, I like getting the emails from time to time just to remind me cool content is out. Maybe it can generate a TLDR email from all of your newsletter subs?
Congrats @travis_page !
@travis_page@tonyhanded Hey thanks! I looked at this as an aggregator for newsletters that haven't made the leap to substack or beehiiv
As for a TLDR, do you have psychic powers? Do you have cameras in my home? AM I BEING DETAINED? lol I am building that feature out now! A daily or weekly digest with all the emails summarized
