Bing Liu
Hi, I'm Bing, the creator of HookBook. This app aims to help all sexually active people, especially in the LGBTQ+ community, to better manage their sex life. I'm very proud and excited to share this product and my story with you. 🥳 As a gay man, sex life has always been a huge part of my identity. However, despite all the dating apps, bars, or events to help explore our sex life, there are not many ways to help us safely navigate through our journey. This was especially true when I started taking PrEP. I found I had these questions all the time: did I take my pills that day? Did we use protection? What day did we have the encounter? Why there's not an app to help me manage those things easily? 🤔 That's why I developed HookBook, the best app for managing your sex life. The calendar provides an easy glance at your PrEP / TasP history and the dates of your sexual encounter, and the activity cards allow you to remember all your encounters in as much detail as you want. You can use this app to safely journal your sex life ✍️, manage your partners 👯‍♂️, and save screenshots and photos in partner albums 📸. Lastly, I understand this is very sensitive personal information to be put into an app. That is why HookBook is by default running offline, and there's no information collected by the app. All data is safely stored on your devices via Apple Core Data & CloudKit, and no one else has access to it 🔐. I hope you will enjoy this product as much as I do! Please don't hesitate to leave any questions or suggestions 😃
