Planning a trip with friends is as easy as sending them a link. With live collaborative travel boards, your travel companions can edit your board, add pins to the map and write important notes. Sharing a no-edit view with family is just another link away.
Hey Product Hunt π
On last years ski trip, I realised how difficult it was to get my aunt, dad and the rest of the family into google docs to plan a trip with me. I needed something meant for travel and as simple as just sending friends or family a link, no convincing them of signing up or downloading an app. Thats what Holihopper aims to do.
β¨ Here's why Holihopper stands out:
π₯ Collaboration made simple: Just share a link, and your friends are in! You can all add notes, arrange accommodations, and plan activities on an intuitive, drag-and-drop board. It's like having your travel brainstorming session, but way more organized and fun.
π One link to rule them all: Forget about losing track of plans. One link gives everyone access to the updated itinerary, notes and map, all in real-time. You decide if they should have editing privileges.
π Things to do: Exploring your destination has never been easier, "Things to do" suggests activities and attractions uniquely suited to your location. From iconic landmarks to hidden local spots, plan your journey with insights into the most memorable things to do.
π± Mobile-friendly: Plan on the go! The mobile version is just as powerful, ensuring you have your travel plans at your fingertips, wherever you are.
Would love to hear what you think and if you could see yourself using it π

Thank you!

Oh! So sweet. I've tried to create my own setup for this several times with combination of google map pins and shared docs. This is exactly what I was looking for. I like the clean design and very clear use case.
I have some usability issues with smaller things on mobile, like textfield placeholders not being selected on tap and date pickers not getting values until after finishing. These details matter in a product like this. I recommend doing some basic usability testing just watching your users go through the flow to spot them. The devil is in the details!
Good luck on your launch, looking forward to using it on my next trips to Barcelona!
