Hi Product Hunt! I'm Silver and i built haveibeenencoded.com. I had a few motivations for creating this site: a) to find out if i'm important enough to be encoded into AI models or when does it happen b) Large Language Models are going to be replacing search engines to a large extent and having them hallucinate things about me made me uneasy. I wanted to make it super simple to keep track of what do all the different models say about me and how do those descriptions change over time. I'm sure there are other egos out there who have realized that this is the new googling yourself and want to do the same. c) I wanted to bring attention to the future we're headig for - it's not easy to get LLM's to produce trustworthy output and align them to do exactly what we want. I thought a good way of demonstrating that is using a topic that we are all specialists in - ourselves. Things get personal pretty quick if AI's start spreading lies about you. I've seen examples from people who are claimed to be dead all the way to being alleged to have committed crimes. Hope y'all find less disturbing answers about yourself!

Hey @silver_keskkula really like this proposition and intrigued me straight away. I'm sure you are capturing this for analytics on user behaviour but from an experience point of view found the multi-stage lead on from sharing email to sharing on social and then finally paying a misleading experience. I stopped at giving my email address but this felt principally like a contradiction considering I was using the tool based on protecting my privacy. It would be great if you could see at minimum insights or if Bard, Bing etc. even register something if you inevitably are trying to monetise straight away. Hope this feedback is helpful and look forward to how you can continue to grow out from this idea

@sandiforward I appreciate the feedback. There is no lead from sharing to payment. It's one OR the other. The only reason why there is a filter ahead of Bing and Bard results is that those API's have not been made officially available yet, so it's manual work on my part to get that data added. I'm happy to do it for those passionate enough about the project to help spread the word. But as for the rest - worry not, all the results will come to your email for free once the API's are actually available and I do not have to do any manual work anymore.

This is a very interesting idea and product! Congrats @silver_keskkula 🙌 I can see it becoming important in the future, as AI becomes more and more integrated into daily life and it becomes hard to tell what is true or false.
