Cute device to securely store your passwords and type them
The Wio Terminal is a cute and powerful device for the internet of things. It has a screen and a fiveway joystick so it can host applications. With the PasswortVault open source software and a small SD card installed, it becomes a secure and user friendly password manager.
I built this device to solve the situation I encounter over and over again with my friends and family. They refuse to use software password managers, use a single password on all services or collect passwords in paper notebooks. More often than not, they expect me to know their passwords :(
With PasswordVault, they can xsecurely store all their passwords and quickly have them typed into any device or service.
Compared to other solutions, PasswordVault uses powerful, open and off-the-shelf hardware with a big screen, and open source, easy to use software.
