My name is Chris and I’m one of the co-creators of https://hackerstash.com and I'm very excited to share the project everyone! 💡 What is it? https://hackerstash.com is a new community designed to drive people’s projects forward and help them earn funds they can spend to grow their businesses. It’s a private community, and it costs $9 per month per project (unlimited team members). But here’s the catch: the money isn’t for us! All subscription fees go straight into the prize pool and get awarded to the community’s chosen winners each week 😊. There’s a promo code at lower down too 👇 🤔 Why? For people who regularly participate in communities like Producthunt, Indiehackers, Reddit, Twitter etc it's an immensely rewarding experience, but there are plenty of people who prefer to sit on the sidelines. Lurking is nice, I do that in some communities too(!), but if you’re working on a project the you really can supercharge it by joining the conversation and connecting with others. This is central to the community and tournament mechanics we've been defining. Likewise it's often hard to give back. I see some many people making rad projects online, but I don't personally need all of them. Other than advice, or sharing projects with friends, I'd love to be able to help financially. I've been on HackerStash since the early days, and even when the community was super small I was getting a ton of really great advice and feedback on what I'm working on. As the community grows, it's only gotten better. I was really surprised how quickly HS became the first community I check when I get online in the morning. The access to funding is honestly secondary to me - but as the community grows so too will the funding amount, which I think will make this a game-changing community. What if the next big thing is built and funded on HackerStash! Really excited to see where the team takes this!
