Built by students, for students—HCB is the nonprofit neobank powering local hackathons, clubs, and teams with 501(c)(3) status. Collect donations, send payments, issue cards, and manage funds with ease. Focus on building—we’ll handle money.
Hack Club Bank is a powerful toolkit for organizing your event. We'll handle your finance so you can focus on your event, not nonprofit status and tax filing. For the first time ever we're opening our application process to anyone in high school or college.
Was a game changer for my small organization. kidney.wiki is a pediatric kidney medicine education website that actually has nothing to do with hacking, but it was still eligible for fiscal sponsorship through HCB. The cost of starting and maintaining a 501(c)(3) would have used up our entire bankroll. Fiscal sponsorship with HCB enabled us to accept tax-deductible donations and the platform allows us to manage our finances with simplicity and reliability. The %-based fee structure is very fair and does not continuously leech away funds. Highly recommend to anyone who needs fiscal sponsorship for their organization.
They were a gift when our other fiscal sponsor suddenly shut down. They helped us keep our community moving, continue to collect tax-deductible donations, and pay contractors easily. We would not exist today if we hadn't found Hack Club and we really love the design and simplicity of their platform, and their commitment to not host groups or orgs that harm the planet (aka fossil fuel orgs).
Fire. The best financial tool ever made for teenagers. You can create your own virtual & physical cards for FREE! Send wires, ACH, mail checks, and invoices. It has a built in donation page to make stuff easier. You can even reimburse yourself if payments aren’t accepted! As a teenager this helped countless organizations I’ve made to help fundraise and manage our finances
If you are interested in finding a Hack Club you can use this tool instead of Googling and asking on Slack.
