Project Gutenberg is an amazing platform that makes books that are in the public domain accessible to everyone. The project is a massive volunteer effort that already spans 75.000 books. https://www.gutenberg.org Unfortunately the official website is a bit dated and a bit complicated when all you want is to quickly search for a book or author and to fetch the EPUB in one click. I like the idea, but now, I can see only a few books on the main page. What is the number of publications in a database, and is there any possibility to contribute? If yes, how do you solve IP, copyrights, etc.?

@busmark_w_nika The books shown on the main page are the most downloaded books on Project Gutenberg. The platform covers 75.000 books at the moment.

@__tosh Thank you, Thomas :) I had already one source for books but you know, there is not enough books to read and it is better to have more :)
