Sharing an account with Two-Factor Authentication can be tricky. The Group2FA® App ensures that trusted members of a shared account have access to login verification codes when they need them. Shares Authenticator App Codes or SMS-based One-time Passcodes.
Do you share logins and passwords for online accounts, such as streaming services, websites, banking, or other online platforms? If you do, you can set up groups in the Group2FA App that allow access for trusted members (such as family, friends, clients, employees, or co-workers) to authentication information, such as SMS-based One-time Passcodes (OTP) or to Authenticator App-based Verification Codes.
Hey Kevin! Group2FA sounds super handy, especially for families or small teams. The idea of sharing OTPs securely is something I've been looking for. Just wondering, does it work well with international numbers? Congrats on the launch, excited to see how it evolves!
@evelynrosesinclair The app supports users in 30+ countries. The Group2FA Numbers are currently US +1 Country Code, but shouldn't have issues with incoming non-US SMS messages. Shared Authenticator App codes have no barrier for users in supported countries. BTW We will be launching 4 non-US Country Codes Group2FA Number options in the next month or so.
Looks like a really handy app. Haven't tried it yet, but the idea of securely sharing logins with trusted folks is super practical. Congrats on the launch!
