Hey Hunters!!! I'm Dima Isakov, a co-founder of Goods & Hands, creator, designer, loving hubby and dad 3 boys. I've been in creative marketplace since 2016 and it's the best thing that's ever happened to me. I'm madly in love with creating quality digital products and selling them all over the world. My client base is over 100K, products have been downloaded over 500K times and continue to do so every day. But over the last 3 years I see that this market needs a global change. So I decided to team up with like-minded people and create Goods & Hands, which I want to present you today. 👌 Goods & Hands is a design marketplace where people find, buy and order unique design assets from a creative community of creators. 🤘 G&H solves several problems: ♦ Helps people get the design assets they really want for affordable money. People find created assets, get customized versions, or request new goods from creators for their tasks for free. They only pay for what they really need. ♦ Helps creators find co-creators and together create useful products that can't be done alone. Each creator continues to do their favorite thing, but together they create large-scale collections of digital goods. One creator's illustration becomes another's wedding invitation template, all without infringing copyright. ♦ Connects people and creators together. Now everyone can influence the creative marketplace by simply leaving an order. All orders are processed, grouped by popularity and get to all creators with priority queue. And it's completely free of charge. When the product is ready, any user can buy it. ♦ Protects copyrights. This means that we monitor not only the works of creators inside the platform, but also violations on other marketplaces. Behind every product of our creator is a real creative process, experiences and emotions, which we protect and don't allow to soullessly steal. I personally gave 6 years to the development of digital products in the creative market and felt all the weaknesses of the existing system, which we have already started to improve. And this applies not only to creators, but also to customers who still tell me about problems. So, we're creating a thriving community of professionals and like-minded creators, who not only sell their products but assemble into teams and units for expanding into different techniques and media they didn’t have an opportunity to try before. By implementing a zero-tolerance policy towards AI-generated goods and assets and by putting our inhabitants first, we aim to create the most wholesome, helpful and welcoming homebase for artists, designers, illustrators, animators, video production specialists and anyone who is looking for a new home in this hostile AI-bros-profit-over-integrity-driven cutthroat corporate climate, with the art communities of the olden days betraying their user base and destroying their own legacy brick by the boring brick. We have minuses and bugs that we worried about and delayed the launch on Product Hunt. But it takes forever to improve, so here we are. We know it's going to be difficult for us. We're up against huge creative platforms that dictate their rules and step on the throats of all creators. But we have prepared ourselves and kept costs to a minimum. We'll realize our idea step by step until we create a new temple for creators and people who really love true human creativity without copyright infringement. Any your support would be appreciated! Thanks much!

@dima_isakov Love the mission of empowering creators! How do you plan to scale while keeping the community collaborative and authentic?
Dima Isakov
@tonyabracadabra Thanks much! Oh yeah, our mission doesn't just energize us. It unites all us! It's no secret that an idea cost is nothing. It has to be realized. Here are the challenges we face: - to create the most useful products possible for people; - to allow the creator to do what really loves; - to protect copyright. We're confident that we won't have trouble scaling because we're a community! Every illustration that one illustrator creates will be used by multiple template creators. One will create a New Year's card, another a Calendar, a third will insert her to Presentation template and etc. And all these without violating copyright. All these creators are co-authors and share the income among themselves. And while the creators make new templates, the illustrator continue to draw his illustrations that he really loves.

This project truly resonates with me, as it aligns with values that are incredibly important right now, both for creators and customers. It’s crucial that products like this stand out in the market, gaining recognition and contributing to a shift in society’s mindset. By fostering a genuine interest in human-made art, it sets a meaningful direction, highlighting the importance of preserving and supporting authentic creativity in today’s world. I’m excited to see how it evolves and impacts the industry!

@anna_lazar Thanks for the opinion! We actually worry about creators because we are creative people too. The funny thing that we're not against AI. We just don't want it to compete with humans in the same ecosystem where humans simply don't stand a chance. When I created my first design product, it took two months. Now I spend much less time, but it's not enough to be on par with AI. We are creating a place where creators can feel safe and do what they love to do. And people get real creativity without copyright infringement.

Dima, thank you for such a thoughtful and passionate approach to creating Goods & Hands. It’s truly inspiring! What inspired the team to create Goods & Hands? Was there a specific experience or event that became a turning point in starting this project?

@coldenblue Thank you for your opinion! We're at the beginning of journey and there is still so much to do. Yes, you're right, it wouldn't be Goods & Hands if I hadn't experienced the creative marketplace and the rules of the game. First of all, a big thing that destroys any creativity—theft. Even before AI, many authors were stealing ideas from others. And none of the existing marketplaces are trying to regulate this. I would even say so, the platforms benefit when authors create more and more, albeit stealing from each other. Well, with the advent of AI, many authors have thrown the brush aside and stopped creating something new. They started stamping out new products without giving opportunity to those who refused. Second, I teamed up with other authors before Goods & Hands. We made collaborative goods, shared elements/tips, made shared bundles. But no marketplace allowed to do it. Now it will be more easier. And when me surrounded by like-minded people and professionals, the quality of goods created for customers will be even better. Thirdly, buyers write to me and talk about their problems. People are tired of single, soulless products. They want to buy well-thought-out products without Lorem Ipsum. Preferably all in one style and high level. It is impossible to create a variety of products alone. That's when the idea came that it was time to create Goods & Hands.
