As a game developer I built this product out of a need and not a want. I needed to understand what makes games financially successfully from a data point of view. All of the existing products out there that provide data into Steam look into what games are performing well within a current period or diving into an individual game's statistics. GG Insights allows you to form your own questions and find answers by observing out and then inwards.
To be a full-time game developer in this very competitive environment you need to understand the market, find out what is trending and what niches can earn a steady income. Building a game without understanding the market is a big gamble. Validate your ideas by diving into the data and understand what works and what doesn't.
By scraping Steam I can take a look into the market holistically and then start to drill down on genres and tags that may potentially provide a higher chance of success for the game I am wanting to create.
I have a bunch of free datasets available to download and you can leverage my AI assistant to help read the datasets into something digestible. I offer a 1 time payment method which provides you will full access to all datasets including the raw data.
