Gigeey is a task management app on a quest to organize your life so that you can well, do some more of living. When you open Gigeey, you should have everything you want and have committed to do, at the tip of your fingers.
Hey guys.
Quick background:
I have always had a hard time keeping track of those things I have to do in my head. I know people who will be doing one thing and just at the right time notice it is time to do the next thing (say a meeting). I am one of those who fully engage in whatever they are doing and lose any sense of time and their surroundings.
I tried paper lists and several to-do apps but many just didn't fit the profile. They were either too complex or too limiting. So I decided to work on something that works for me.
I know (or think I know) a majority of people do not have to-do lists for their day-to-day. But I also know that there are those that do. These two kinds of people interact more than occasionally (my personal experience inclusive) yet are seemingly alien to each others' worlds.
I also noticed that many a time someone casually asks you to do something whether physically or through a text message or any other IM application. The battle is then to remember this thing at the right time.
With Gigeey, those that do a lot of planning can do that here but also engage those that don't by sending them do-requests. With do requests, the one that requires your time or help will do the heavy lifting of setting the time, task and sending it to you. You then have the choice to accept, reject or reschedule the said task. They also get to know when you accept, start doing, and get done with a task.
When you open your Gigeey therefore, you should see everything you want to and committed to doing, whether set by you or others.
@ebong_andrew Hey Ebong, congrats on the launch 🚀
Side note: it's almost end of the day for posting in Product Hunt. I would suggest using tools like https://previewhunt.com/ to plan the launch so it gets more visibility.
