Five years ago, the long-distance relationship with my friends and family made my life as an international student in San Francisco difficult. Sending gifts to them was such a tiresome process when I wasn’t with them. It was especially time-consuming for me to find perfectly-matched gifts for each of them. Later in my early career, managing hundreds and thousands of gifting tasks and sending them to employees and clients drove me crazy. Then COVID-19 gave me another hit — it made the operation even harder when people all work from home.
With some early backers in Silicon Valley, a few friends of mine decided to design a platform to make gifting extremely easy, powered by a smart engine to find gift options that recipients would love.

It seems like a perfect fit for corporate giving occasions! Can you talk more about how you guys do personalization? Your website mentioned individually tailored gifts, what does that mean specifically?
@fotoflo Thanks for asking this question! You're absolutely right. REAL personalization is the core of our service. We're tired of the old type of gift personalization where people just put receivers' names on mugs and t-shirts. Sending individually-tailored gifts means we generate unique gifts for each of your gift receivers. That way, everyone can get a gift they actually want and need. Of course, product personalization, such as putting your name on a cutting board, is included too!
@archerwindy Unique gift ideas is it? There's so many products out there... how do you know which ones are good ones and which ones are good fits for my recipients?

We collect products with high quality and reasonable pricing in the marketplaces and put them in our product pool, which has 3 million+ products currently, and your recipients will get 5 gifts to choose from, recommended by our AI based on their personal preferences in a short questionnaire. If they don't like the gifts, they can go on to our product pool with the budget you provide and select gifts of their own choice. Or they can also donate the gifting budget to charities they love. Hope this answers your concerns!
