GetGit is a simple Git hosting service that gives you your own private Gitea instance that you can set up however you like. It’s ideal for freelance developers or small teams that need to create lots of users, organization, and private repos.
@angrydeveloper Thanks for the question! It's really only possible because Gitea is very light on resources. I also plan to continue building out features that will help offset some of the cost of maintaining servers for one-time payment accounts.
Thanks for checking out my first product launch! I built this because it’s something I always wanted as a freelance developer, and I think others might find it useful too.
Let me know what you think!
@ryan_roberts1 See my other comments on this post, but I plan to add new features to help offset any cost from one-time payment accounts. I also think of it as a way to attract new customers without having to fully open up my service to the abuse I might get from free accounts. Still, these accounts are in no way "sandbox" accounts. Users paid for them and I plan to support them as long as I'm able!
@cnu I plan to continue offering the one-time payment option as long as I can! I may find that I need to adjust pricing (or as I said in another comment, add "pro" features that are billed monthly), but it's definitely not just an introductory offer. Thanks for asking!
