Hello PH gang! 👋
I’m Jacopo, the maker of Gblock, a Chrome extension that blocks email tracking in Gmail. It stops spy pixels and cleans up tracking links, providing you with a full protection against email tracking 🔒.
Why did I build Gblock?
Because your inbox shouldn’t spy on you. Most people don’t realize that the majority of emails contain invisible tracking pixels or redirect links that report back when, where, and even what device you used to open them; all without your consent, so I built Gblock to fix it.
How does it work?
📨 Works right inside Gmail
🕵️ Blocks spy pixels before they load
🧠 Automatically detects new spy pixels
🔗 Anonymizes and cleans up tracking links
⚙️ Simple setup: Install the Chrome extension, and you're protected
🔍 Bonus: you can see exactly what’s being blocked, if you’re curious.
Gblock is live with a 30-day free trial. Try it out, see how many emails are tracking you, and let me know what you think!
I’d love your feedback, bug reports, or ideas. And if you care about digital privacy, I think you’ll find Gblock refreshing.

@jacopo_beschi1 Super useful! Most people don’t even realize how many emails are secretly tracking them. Love how Gblock brings transparency and control back into Gmail. Congrats on the launch!

@kui_jason Thanks! it’s gross once you realize how many emails are silently tracking you. Gblock already blocks over 4,000 different spy trackers automatically, and thanks to our automated detection, that number keeps growing. The more people use Gblock, the faster it improves. Appreciate the support!
This is great! Does it work on new emails only or will it block tracking for previously received emails too?
Gblock
@adamrice it works for all emails, also the one already received before you installed the extension.
