Hey Product Hunt community 👋 Founder Reports is an email newsletter showcasing the stories of amazing entrepreneurs, creators, and founders. Each week, we publish in-depth interviews and case studies that provide behind-the-scenes access so readers can see how the business grew, plus all the exciting details. In addition, we publish "Founder Life" interviews and articles covering topics significant to entrepreneurs that don't get enough attention. This includes stress, burnout, work-life balance, mental health, and more. We know these topics matter because David Domzalski (my co-founder) and I have experienced them ourselves. Our goals for Founder Reports include: 💡 Inspiring and encouraging those who want to start or grow a business 🎯 Providing practical, actionable insight 📣 Showcasing founders and entrepreneurs doing great things 🧠 Helping with mental health and life topics that aren't often covered We'd love to connect and have you join us. Subscribe for free at 👇 FounderReports.com Grab our free business validation checklist here. We'd love any feedback, suggestions, etc. Thank you 🙌 P.S. We're hosting a survey to gather details about the life of founders and entrepreneurs related to things like stress, burnout, work-life balance, etc. We'd greatly appreciate participation with this one-minute survey that will help us provide better and more relevant content to our readers. If you take the survey, leave a comment here so we can thank you!

@meryem_ghazi Thanks for your comment! I can only speak for myself, but I've already gained a lot from the interviews. It's like getting free consulting from successful entrepreneurs.

I gave Founder Reports a sub the other day. How do you get such detailed responses from founders, and how do you stop founders from repurposing the same information for other interview-based sites? It would also be great to filter through according to what sort of industry I am looking for, too, so it's more targeted information for me.
David Domzalski
@cameronscully_ Thanks! We appreciate your support! We encourage founders to be as detailed as possible for their benefit and our readers. It’s a way to promote their business and their journey. Founders can share their stories elsewhere and many have. We encourage that as well. It’s their story. We’re about building a community and these interviews are the building blocks. That’s a great point! We are organizing based on different filtering methods and hope to offer that feature to users soon. I’ll let my cofounder weigh in as well. Thanks!!

@cameronscully_ @daviddomzalski It's crucial to know about F*ck ups from fellow founders, it makes life so much easier! Do you have founders from Ukraine there?
Marc Andre
@cameronscully_ Thanks for the feedback. We're working on the categorization/organization. We have the details on the back end (taxonomies in WordPress) we just need to get that functionality on the front end of the site. As far as getting information, most of the people we talk to our happy to give detailed answers. We also try to be upfront with people about what we're looking for so if they're not interested in giving detail, they'll hopefully choose not to do the interview. We also provide some prompts for the questions to give more details about what we're looking for.
Marc Andre
@sasha_buratynskyi We have two from Ukraine that are finished and will be shared soon. One of those companies has faced significant challenges and had to relocate team members for their safety due to the war. That's a big part of their story. You subscribe if you'd like to see it https://founderreports.com/
Rami
great plan. compete with starterstory and indie hackers. this has a lot of potential, what's your first niche?
Marc Andre
@kingromstar Hi Rami, we have interviews with founders from many different industries. We're not really focusing on a particular niche at this point. We're looking more for substance rather than a specific type of business. I've personally learned a lot from the interviews of founders in completely different niches than me. I enjoy seeing how they promoted their business and how they've solved problems. A lot of it is relevant to me and much different than what I've seen from other people in my niche.
Rami
@marc_andre1 I just signed up!
