Folk makes you wonder how there wasn't any tool like it for efficiently managing your contacts - you know, that feeling where you can't even remember what "before" Folk was like. I have been using it for nearly a month in private beta now and it has become a part of my daily life. Thanks and congrats team !
I've been using Folk in private beta for some time, and I'm glad I can finally tell the world how much of a game-changer it has been for me! Folk saves me a HUGE amount of time: it keeps all my contacts from multiple sources in one place, it automatically deduplicates/enriches/adds email threads to contacts, AND it acts like a CRM but for my network. I had tested many options before, so I'm relieved I won't have to switch tools back-and-forth anymore!
After loading my contacts, it actually found more duplicates than Google Contacts. It has synced perfectly with my Google Contacts, so updates done in Folk are reflected in my contacts' list. Waiting to try more features.
I have been using Folk for 7 months now.
It helps keep the contact database up to date which is a huge pain across an organisation.
I always take contact details of people I talk to but I forget there names. Tags are helpful to recall. I am also very bad at keeping in touch. Reminders are smart.
