I have chosen Flowbite as the framework for my upcoming SAAS product due to several compelling reasons. Firstly, Flowbite offers a wider range of built-in components compared to Bootstrap, which provides greater flexibility and variety for designing the user interface. Additionally, Flowbite's documentation is highly comprehensive, making it easier to understand and utilize the framework effectively.
One of the standout features of Flowbite is its freedom from enforcing a specific UI structure, unlike Google Material design. This allows developers to implement their desired UI without being constrained by predefined design patterns.
Moreover, the pro version of Flowbite offers prebuilt common components and templates, which can significantly streamline development and save time. In contrast, other themes like Google Material UI or Bootstrap often provide a monolithic application structure, like Metronic, requiring developers to refactor extensively to extract and utilize specific components. This can lead to a cumbersome and frustrating developer experience.
In addition to its rich feature set, Flowbite also provides Figma designs, which can be highly beneficial when working with designers as the product evolves. This allows for seamless collaboration and the ability to design new elements as needed.
I look forward to completing my SAAS project using Flowbite and will be sure to share my experience with the framework.
