Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I created this free online tool as a weekend hack to help myself & my partner plan for our next move. As young engineers in the Bay Area, we had to be _very_ efficient with our use of available space. However, what frustrated us was that the vast majority of the floorplans out there did not have any measurements on them. Without it, we had no idea whether it'd even be possible to reasonably fit a bed & home office setup in some of the smaller rooms. Even if there was, we literally had to print it and use a good old ruler/pencil to try things out. In a couple of hours, we found ourselves persuading each other to just go to the office 😅. FloorSketch.io completely changed our game, as we could just pop in a floorplan & its square footage to try various layouts and make reasonable decisions.
