Hey Product Hunt Community 👋 I’m David and I’m the creator of Five Phrases 🦜. I built Five Phrases because I usually don't find the time to learn a new language (or just the basics of one) before I go on a trip. What usually happens is that I'm trying to learn a few phrases on my way there and then trying to juggle very basic conversations with the help of some notes, random websites and Google translate. Usually just to order a drink and some food or to ask for the wifi password. Exhausting. On one of these trips, having a chat with friends over a beer, we had the idea that knowing just a few (five) basic phrases in a language can make a huge difference.
