I need this so badly. I’ve held out on buying a pet tracker for my cat because I didn’t feel like they were prioritizing the features I needed most. The only current products on the market either don’t have a battery, meaning you can only get location when it’s within range, or are battery-powered but track every movement of the cat, meaning you have to charge it frequently.
Find My Cat has struck the perfect balance, giving me real-time location info via GPS whenever I NEED to know where my cat is, without tracking every little movement. Plus, the hyper-precise locating feature (within bluetooth range) is genius! And, the fact that it’s open-source?! Means it’s only going to keep getting better. If they can get the hardware down to around half its current size, it will be truly a miracle for cat owners. 👏
